It is not about how much you save... it is about how much you spend!
I can't believe I have even uttered those words. I used to be about how much you saved, who cared what you spent and then like the rest of our country I found myself in debt for so many reason that I can't begin to tell you. I'm not a person who really spends a lot, contrary to popular belief I have always bought things on the cheap and on sale. However, I also found myself when I decided to turn into a stay at home mom putting all of my groceries and basic needs on credit cards. I am a person of faith and I turned my trust to credit cards and not God and trusting that He would provide. Well needless to say I woke up and decided to let go and let God and trust. I love coupon blogs and follow Hip2Save religiously! However, the deals they post don't always apply to me or are not helpful. I need to figure out a way to take care of my family at the cheapest amount possible, hey free is even better!. When a deal calls for you to spend 15 cash at hand to turn around and only have reward dollars at that store that just won't work for me. I need that 15 to spread to several stores and just because you get a great deal on a few items, if the rest of your milk money is now tied up at a specific store ....well that won't provide for your family. God willing I have started to find deals that are allowing me to feed and take care of my family really cheap, I now credit myself as a "Professional Couponer." It is a part time job and takes work and effort but I love sharing what I find in hopes that others who want to partake in deals but don't have ANY money can get by too!
